Users

Users are added and maintained through the Admin User screen.

Three access levels are provided:

Read-only

Users designated as "Read-only" can make no changes within the database. They are simply able to view data.

Normal

Users designated as "Normal" can create and modify data but do not have access to any admin functions (including Bulk Update).

Administrator

Users designated as "Administrator" have full access to the system. Administrators can create and modify data and access and change any of the administration elements within the system.

Each user is given a profile that they are free to configure.
This profile includes :

  • Username that can not be edited
  • Password
  • User Tag for quick identification of userid (in user dropdowns)
  • Email Address list where email notifications for this user are to be sent
  • Group that the user is assigned to
  • Preferences
  • Column settings which list the default column set (and field formatting) that is shown in the main menu.
