Test Runs

To create a new Test Run, choose New Test Run from the FTS menu or click the New Test Run button at the top of the Test Run List. You will be prompted to enter a name for the Test Run. Below this is the Auto-Population Form. This form models the FIT | BugTrack "New Bug" screen. When a Test Run is activated and a Test Case/Step is given a result, the tester has the option of entering a new bug into the system. A bug created in this manner will be pre-populated with the values from the Auto-Population Form. After submitting, you will be taken to the Test Run Details.

When viewing the Test Run Details you can view the Test Run's information, as well as a list of its Test Results. There are also a few options available for the Test Run:

  1. Activate Test Run: Once a Test Run is activated, you will be taken back to the FTS main menu, and the currently activated Test Run will be shown under the menu with an option to deactivate it. See below for more information on active Test Runs.
  2. Edit Test Run: by editing a Test Run, you can change the Module's name, as well as change the values in the Auto-Population Form.
  3. Delete Test Run: after confirmation, this option will remove the Test Run from the Test Run List.
